Cover Supervisor – SEMH Contract Full Time

A PRU in New Barnet are looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor or Unqualified teacher to join their PRU in October to take on cover supervisor work. 

The Role

This role is for an experienced cover supervisor/unqualified teacher who would like to take on additional responsibilities. You will be covering lessons and classes as required across the school. Some of the pupils have mental health challenges and some come from challenging backgrounds. The pupils have either been permanently excluded from School or have been out of education for a long period of time due to their mental health and are looking to be reintegrated back into their School or New setting. 

The School 

The School is a PRU based in New Barnet with two different sites. Pupils have access to an exciting curriculum with a broad range of subjects and qualifications alongside opportunities through enrichment, trips, visits and experiences. There is a good professional development programme for all staff to access and the leadership team are well placed to offer support to the staff team across all areas.

Requirements for this role: 

• Previous Cover supervisor experience in a secondary school 
• Unqualified Teaching experience
• Must have experience of working with Children who are Secondary and Primary aged 
• Must have experience working with children with SEMH
